018. my new murakami book

After the morning exam, I took a stroll in Kinokuniya at Paragon, just as usual, with my friend
When I can across this beauty here:

The Strange Library, Haruki Murakami

I'd admit to being a hipster, if it means enjoying a Murakami book.
I like the void left inside me, post-book. There's an emptiness engraved.
And nothing could ever fill it up again, all I can do is leave it be.
(That's what I felt after finishing Norwegian Wood and Sputnik Sweetheart)

Chip Kidd.

A re-edition of a novella from 2008, the book design was by Chip Kidd.
Typed in Typewriter font, filled with graphics inspired from vintage Japanese advertisements.

A lovely book to start reading what I want to read,
after the excruciating week of final exams had ended.

Another version was released as well, and my friend Yuki bought it.
Will let you know how the other version is when she finished.
